Probably. Spiciness is all subjective ha So what is spicy to one may not be to another! You're going to have to experiment.

I've used rotel in the past and it made my dishes really spicy. How spicy is this chili if I use rotel and just the one tbsp of chili powder? Is it just a mild kick?

I doubled the recipe and added a can of anchovies. I reduced the salt to 4 tablespoons instead of six but it was still very salty but still delicious.
I forgot to mention, you use the beans dried. You will need to make your stock minus the beans and then add the dry beans to your jar and cover it with your stock. I am not sure how many dried beans to add per quart but I am thinking around 1/4 cup because they should double in size. Add too many and your jar could crack under pressure. Again, do your research.

Hello, you can pressure can this recipe. It would be 90 minutes for quarts and 75 minutes for pints. I think you can also water bath it for 3 hours for quarts, but I am not sure about pints. Do your research for WB as I make no promises.

Kidney beans contain a toxin and they must be boiled to neutralize it. Cooking on low on a crockpot is said not to get hot enough to make them safe. Please look into it and be safe!
