Do you have to use a hard wheat for this recipe? I do not have any hard wheat on hand. I have Einkorn, Spelt, and Khorasan. I do have soft white wheat as well. What would you suggest in place of the hard wheat for this recipe?

By chance do you have a video of this recipe, I did not see one.

Made these tonight. They are SOOOOOOO good! I used half hard white, 1/4 soft white and 1/4 kamut. Also added a little asiago and parsley to the dough in addition to the ingredients listed. Seriously delicious!

Hey Felicia!

I tried this recipe for the first time this past Saturday and was BLOWN AWAY!!!!!
It's easy to follow and came together very well.

I took some to a baby shower the next day and they were well received.

Thank you, Felicia for converting it to fresh-milled flour which is the only way to go.

God bless you and keep walking in your purpose.

The sponge method should work just fine. And yes you certainly can refridgerate and bake later, or you can bake and warm them up whenever you need it.

I was asked to bring these to a gathering - so should I let the dough rise once, then shape, and then maybe refrigerate until I leave and then bake there? And on some recipes I see you do the sponge method and rise once, would this work on this recipe?
