How to Master Prepping with Grains
Your prepper pantry doesn’t have to be complicated or break the bank. And GRAINS are the key! In this complete, 9-module video training you’ll learn the complete system for easily and affordably stockpiling for hard times.
My Grain Mill - Wondermill Electric Grain Mill
This is my personal grain mill. She’s been going strong for 9 years now! I can’t recommend her enough.
Where I Buy My Grains
I receive grains from multiple places right now.

Any coupon codes I have will be there as well!
My Mixer - Bosch Universal Mixer
Yes, you can use a regular stand mixer for bread with a dough hook, however, I cannot recommend the Bosch Universal Mixer enough due to the power of this machine. The motor easily handles heavy bread doughs much easier than a stand mixer.
Gamma Bucket Lids
These lids are awesome to have for your 5 gallon buckets. No more struggling to get lids off, these just screw on and off!
My Apron
I searched high and low for the exact apron I wanted, and this is it. It’s thick enough to withstand everyday use (including being caught on all my kitchen knobs because I’m a shorty; thinner aprons rip) and it doesn’t tie behind my neck. It has good pockets too!
Biscuit Cutters
A must-have for biscuits! I have only used the larger one for biscuits, but I love having the option for smaller ones as well (like for cookies!)
Small Rolling Pin
If you’ve seen my yeast bread video, this is the small rolling pin I use almost daily to roll out my bread dough.
Oven Thermometer
If you don’t have a fancy schmancy, super accurate oven, an oven thermometer is a life-saver! My oven burns hotter than it says. This has saved me from a lot of burnt food.
My Favorite Dutch Oven
Dutch Ovens can be so expensive, but this one from Amazon has been amazing. I currently have the 6qt and am definitly wanting more sizes! These are great to have for your sourdough loaves, artisan breads to get that nice crispy crust, and just regular cooking.
My I-Use-This-Every-Day Cast Iron
Can you cook cornbread in a non-cast iron skillet. NO. You cannot. It is blasphemy if you do. Every cook should have a good cast iron skillet! This is a great size.
Stainless Steel Measuring Cups
Because I am CONSTANTLY using measuring cups, I have broken quite a few plastic ones. Since I have converted to stainless steel it has been wonderful. No more broken measuring cups. These are not the exact same ones I have, but they are close.
French Loaf Pan
If you love those crispy French loaves, this is a must. The little holes in the pan allow air to get all around the loaf, thus giving it a nice crispy crust. My French loaves didn’t turn out well until I got this pan!
Favorite Books
What the Bible Says About Healthy Living
Simple, to the point book about what the BIBLE says about living healthy. Hint: It’s not that complicated.
Nourishing Traditions
I am a HUGE fan of the Weston A. Price Foundation and Sally Fallon’s books. Only thing I disagree with is that we must ALWAYS soak or sprout all grains, beans, and nuts. Otherwise, excellent cookbook to read and to cook from.
Mastering the Art of French Cooking
Nope, this isn’t about milling your wheat or healthy whole grains, BUT if you want to learn how to cook amazing food and how to enjoy it, get this. It’s Julia Child. You can’t go wrong with Julia Child. She’s a queen.
The Maker's Diet
If you noticed, Jordan Rubin wrote the forward for “What the Bible Says About Healthy Living.” These books are very related, however, “The Maker’s Diet” is all about Jordan’s personal journey to healing his Crohn’s disease through a Biblical diet. It’s an amazing book that will inspire you.
The Live-Giving Table
This isn’t about whole grains at all, but the importance of coming together as a family and sharing a meal together – something I believe in 100%. This is a book that will inspire you to take the time to fellowship with your friends and family over a meal that has been lovingly prepared.
Bread Revolution: World-Class Baking with Sprouted & Whole Grains
This book fascinated me. Peter Reinhart is a legend in the bread-baking world. If you want to know the science behind baking with whole grains, or just want a really great cookbook using sprouted grains be sure to check this book out.
The Prairie Homestead Cookbook
This is THE cookbook to keep on hand for wonderful heritage, down-home cooking. If you have seen my Homemade Biscuit video, this is where I got my recipe to convert to freshly milled grains. There are so many great recipes in this cookbook. You will love it!
