Hello! I'm excited to try this recipe! I wanted to clarify something, first. In the ingredients, it says to use one batch of simple yeast bread loaf dough, equivalent to one loaf of bread. However, when I go to that recipe, one option says it makes three 1.5 lb loaves, and one says it makes one large 2 lb loaf, or two smaller 1 lb pound loaves. Which one am I doing? The second one, that uses about 3 cups of wheat berries? Just wanted to double check! Although I do like the idea of doubling it and getting a loaf of bread out of it too, or cinnamon rolls to freeze! But for the first try, I just want to do a single recipe for one batch of cinnamon rolls. Thanks so much!

My sister-in-law had actually talked about pouring cream over them before baking, but I had never heard of that before! About how much did you use for one recipe? Just curious!

How far do I go into the bread loaf recipe? Am I kneading the cinnamon roll dough?

If I only wanted to make one bread loaf (not the full recipe for simple yeast bread), would I use 1 cup of soft white wheat berries and 2 cups of hard red wheat berries?

In the notes you suggest to add 2 cups of soft wheat and I did it this time. I used hard red for the rest of the flour. They rose beautifully . Thank you for that suggestion.

This recipe is amazing! I tweaked it just a bit. I made the full bread recipe but substituted 3/4 c of water for sourdough discard. These cinnamon rolls are so fluffy and soft even the next day! For a make ahead tip perfect for the holidays: shape the rolls and freeze. Get them out the day you want to eat them and allow to thaw and rise for 3 hours at room temperature. My family loves these! Thanks for helping me to find a recipe that is healthier

No I have never made this into a cinnamon loaf. If it's separating like that, it sounds like a folding problem. Needs to be a much tighter fold! :-)

Sorry, please let me clarify. I used this recipe to make cinnamon bread and cinnamon rolls. Cinnamon rolls turned out great. The cinnamon bread is what separated with a gap from the top down to the filling. Have you ever made this in a loaf?

If my dough has risen once in bread machine then removed, shaped, rise 2nd time is that too much rising? Should I grab my dough out of bread machine after kneading and before 1st rise then shape and let it rise its 1st time before baking?
