About Felicia
About ten years ago, my husband and I were staying with friends when they served us some of the best pancakes I have ever had. My friends informed me they did this crazy thing where they milled their own wheat into flour and made bread, pancakes, etc with it. They then gave us Sue Becker’s lecture “Do Not Eat the Bread of Idleness.” On our way back home (long drive), we listened to it and immediately said, “WE ARE DOING THIS.”
Fastforward about ten years, my family has grown significantly with a lot of mouths to feed. While we didn’t have any significant health problems when we started, I CAN testify that since we began this whole grain journey we have no allergies, rarely get sick, my children have rarely had to take medicine for anything (there are some that never have needed it at all), vibrancy and energy abound in this family.
I started Grains & Grit because I am so passionate about the true bread that God has created and it needs to be shared with the world. Christians, especially, need to know that the REAL Bread of Life gave us bread we can physically live on as well.
Come with me as we gather around the table, enjoy delicious whole grain meals, and commune with the Bread of Life, Jesus Christ.
