I would just lower your oven temp. Sounds like to about 400 to be safe :-)

Was excited to try this bread to eat during feast of Unleavened bread. Easy to make but high temp of stove with parchment paper almost caused a fire, smoke filled the house, alarms all going off. Parchment paper only allows temp up to 425. Over 500 seems a bit high. Please advise.

Tried this today. I work with whole grain all the time. I volunteered to bring some unleavened bread for the Lords Supper. You recipe drew me (5 stars). I baked it for 5 minutes. It was already brown, so I couldn't tell if it was golden. Some grains baked won't get golden. It was a mixture of leftover whole grain flour i needed to use up. Not bad, but 3 tsp. Of salt was a bit salty for my tastes and the middle looked a bit undone when I tested a piece. I didn’t want it to be too crispy and hard to chew so i took it out and let it sit a bit longer on the pizza stone. I will definitely give it another go and perhaps use some white flour too to lighten it up a little.

I just made it with einkorn fresh milled flour and it came out delicious. I tried keeping the 18 min, I went over one min as it is my first time, and I baked it a few more minutes than the recommended as I wanted to be more like a cracker. Im so happy I found your recipe! Thank you for sharing! Happy Passover!

Easy to follow, delicious results! Thinking even of taking it to our church potluck instead of our typical dessert. Really shines with 3tsp salt, can be used for a grilled sandwich or on the side, and so tasty with fresh flour!
