Ingredients

  • 1 lbs deli roast beef, sliced thin
  • 5-8 slices provolone cheese, cut in half (or substitute cheddar or mozzarrella)
  • 10-12 freshly made dinner rolls
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  • Make a 9x13 dish of dinner rolls from freshly milled wheat using my recipe here: https://youtu.be/T19znP00538
  • Then, once those rolls have cooled take them out of the 9x13 pan but keep them stuck together.
  • Carefully take a bread knife and slice through all of the rolls horizontally like you're making one large sandwich. You will have a top piece and a bottom piece.
  • Reheat oven to 375 F
  • Combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl until smooth
  • Lay out the bottom of rolls on a rimmed baking sheet
  • Brush them liberally with the sauce.
  • Layer on the roast beef and one piece of the cheese
  • Place sliders in oven for five minutes to melt cheese
  • While the cheese is in the oven melting, brush the tops of the buns liberally with sauce
  • Remove tray from oven and then place on tops
  • Brush melted butter over the top and then place in oven for an additional five minutes
