Instructions
Grab a large enough pot to hold the lentils. Dump all ingredients into pot.
Add enough water to cover lentils by about 1 inch.
Heat up over fire, grill, or stove top until boiling. Turn down heat and simmer for about 25-30 minutes until done!
Notes
Cooked sausage, chicken, beef, etc can be added to recipe! Because the lentils cook fast, only add meat that's already cooked! Don't add raw meat.I never measure anything for this recipe, so adjust seasonings to your taste.Other seasonings to consider: Italian seasoning or creole seasoning
